Traintastic, formerly the Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum, has 50,000 square feet of fun for ages 0-100. They have model layouts of all scales, including a tribute to the gulf coast with over 50 interactive local landmarks. In addition to their amazing collection of layouts and model trains, they also host several S.T.E.M. related educational programs: summer camps, early childhood education, and field trips. They have outdoor riding trains, S.T.E.A.M. Shop, a climber with slides, interactive exhibits, and a toddler area- just to name a few of the extras.
TrainTastic hosts amazing birthday parties in their three beautiful party rooms and other special events; the possibilities are endless in this wonderful museum!
Located in Gulfport, Mississippi, on 615 Pass Road.
Regular hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 1-5pm, Also open Mondays Memorial Day-Labor Day. Admission is $15 per adult, $12 per child (under 18), seniors (65+) $12, and active military $10. Members receive free admission. Follow us on Facebook for a list of all upcoming events.
