TOURS & TRANSIT

Hint Hunter

Hint Hunter We try to visit every time we are in town. This was our 3rd visit and the best so far! Professional people with a great sense of humor! The rooms are challenging and innovative! Can’t wait to go again! Visited from Cullman, Alabama

Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra

Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra This is a premier volunteer orchestra with very talented, dedicated musicians. (The largest in the US). Check out their upcoming season - there is something for everyone. All performances are at the beautiful Barbara Mann Performing Arts Concert Hall. Director Andrew Kurtz puts on an magnificent show and brings in outside talent which are world famous. If you are in the Fort Myers area, be sure to add them to your regular list of entertainment selections. Visited from Fort Myers, Florida

Zip n’Fun Adventure Park

Zip n'Fun Adventure Park Visited from Dale, Indiana ]A group of 5 ladies came to Gulfport to tackle this course for our 50th birthday trip. It was a very challenging course and we completed it in 3 hours. Not bad for some old women LOL. We highly recommend this experience. The course is very well done but beware of the heat. It is very hot so come hydrated. We would definitely do it again.

Wut Sup Paddleboards and Rentals

Wut Sup Paddleboards and Rentals ]Visited from McDonough, GeorgiaFrom start to finish we had an incredible experience with Wut Sup! Great communication directly with the owner, and renting a pontoon boat was a breeze! The boat was in excellent condition and handled great. He gave us lots of ideas on where to go. The water is so peaceful. The pontoon boat rental INCLUDES a paddleboard and paddle which could easily be used by those of any experience level due to the calmness of the water. You will love this place and get to enjoy the beauty of the area from the water. If I could rate it 10 stars I would! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Sharkheads

Sharkheads   Visited from Austin, Texas As if a place with a two-story giant shark head bursting out of it isn’t incentive enough to visit this place, then you need to re-evaluate your priorities! It’s on stilts, so the shaded parking underneath was an unexpected bonus. Then, inside—I’m clutching my pearls— SO. MUCH. STUFF! And it’s awesome stuff too. Anything and everything on the planet you can imagine with your name on it: souvenir license plates, candles, keychains, fidget spinners, pencils, magnets, etc.; stuff made from shells, stickers, and every single tchotchke imaginable that has ever been manufactured in the history of EVER. This is a CATHEDRAL OF KITSCH! It. Is. Glorious. It’s like their merchandise buyer just said, “LET’S JUST SELL EVERYTHING!” The world needs more places like this. It’s a souvenir stand on steroids. So much awesome!

Pascagoula River Audubon Center

Pascagoula River Audubon Center   Visited from San Antonio, Florida McCoy's Nature tour operates out of this location and was included in the tour. Facility is beautiful and by itself is a draw but the displays are are nice and there was a group of Headstart kids there having a great time too. Highly recommended and wish we could have stayed longer but had to get some lunch and left knowing it would be worth a trip back to fully immerse in the experience. Enjoy it!

North Star Sailing Charters, LLC

North Star Sailing Charters, LLC Visited from New Orleans, LA Couldn’t ask for a better charter! We came to visit New Orleans, decided to explore outside of the city, this was definitely the highlight of our entire trip! Jim is a great Captain, excellent company, very knowledgeable, and not to mention, a great photographer! He will also provide you with high resolution photos of your party, the breathtaking view, and sunset. We also spotted a few dolphins, oh man, what a wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Model Railroad Museum

Mississippi Gulf Coast Model Railroad Museum Visited from Lynn Haven, Florida My parents had previously brought my kids here, and they wanted to come back while we were in town. It was fun, even for me! The Lego displays we’re awesome, and the railroads were cool to look at. I could return alone, and look at the details alone and spend hours. It was free too!!! Also, they have some cool things for the kids outside! Really cool little place that’s worth stopping.

Mardi Gras Museum

Mardi Gras Museum Visited from Moss Point, Mississippi We stopped in here based on “things to do in Bay St. Louis”. The lady was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bottom floor had a display of Mardi Gras costumes as well as some historical timelines about the area. The folk art gallery upstairs was closed until after the New Year, but it was still worth the stop.

Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company

Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company Visited from Naperville, Illinois I was here 4 years ago and they were just starting the foundation for their taproom and enlarged brewery. Now I’m back and it’s great that they open at 10:00am. Makes it great to grab packaged goods on the way to elsewhere.
