Lynn Meadows Discovery Center Visited from Covington, LA Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is an amazing children’s museum for all children. There are many things for the children to do and will keep them busy for hours. There are many fun things to do that are educational.

Ship Island Excursions Panama City Beach, Florida The water was warm and clear. We watched the sea life go by. The boardwalk to the other side was well cared for. Don’t forget to take a tour of the fort. It’s free and worth the trip alone.

Beauvoir, Jefferson Davis Home Visited From Columbus, Mississippi Beautiful antiques and unique floor plan. The most memorable thing to me was a skirt of a daughter of the house. It had an artistic border around the bottom of the skirt — embroidered with the daughter’s hair. What an accomplishment! As well as unusual handiwork. This was a great experience.

Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art Visited From New Orleans, LA Couldn’t ask for a better charter! We came to visit New Orleans, decided to explore outside of the city, this was definitely the highlight of our entire trip! Jim is a great Captain, excellent company, very knowledgeable, and not to mention, a great photographer! He will also provide you with high resolution photos of your party, the breathtaking view, and sunset. We also spotted a few dolphins, oh man, what a wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum Visited From Winter Park Interesting stuff about fishing industry in Biloxi. Great Hurricane portion of museum. Film and photos of Camille and Katrina.

Center for Marine Education & Research Museum (IMMS) Visited From Morgan City, Louisiana This place is awesome in every way. The people were very informative, friendly and helpful. Lots of information and hands on for kids. The grand finale was just that -GRAND!! Would highly recommend visiting this place if you are in the Gulfport, MS area. We will go back again. The price for the tour is very reasonable. Great place!

Gulfport Premium Outlets Visited From Canton, Mississippi Maybe 50 stores. All name brand. Covered walkways and large Food Court with 7 restaurants. Very safe. And parking on both sides of the complex. 4-5 hours. And only 5 miles to the MS Gulf Coast Beaches. Seven casinos 20 miles to the East. Gulfport-Biloxi MS has made a tremendous comeback from 2005. Many new restaurants and hotels and arcades. 3-4 day vacation. Be cool.

Gulf Islands Water Park Visited From Covington, Louisiana We buy a summer pass every year, we just love coming here! Great place for all ages. My 9 year old loves the big slides. Myself I love to relax in the sun in a lounge chair.

Walter Anderson Museum of Art Visited From New Orleans, Louisiana Have always loved Anderson’s work, but did not know about his life. Museum gives a great guided tour on your mobile device that takes you through what appears to be a crazy man’s world, but reveals that he was just a beautiful man who saw the world from a different angle. The little cottage room was spectacular.

Biloxi Visitors Center Visited From Kettering, Ohio I usually go into a travel center, grab a few ads and discounts and then bolt out. I was here almost two and a half hours reviewing the exhibits and ads while waiting on a great movie series on the area.
